Who we are
G-SIDA General Services, LLC (“G-SIDA,” “we,” “us”) provides facility services in the Washington, DC area and operates the GSida app for our employees and authorized company users. This policy describes the information the GSida iOS app and this website collect, and how we use it.
The GSida app is for people with a company account. There is no public registration.
Information we collect
When you use the GSida app, we collect:
- Account information. Your name, work email address, role, and team, so you can sign in and see the work assigned to you.
- Precise location. Your location when you clock in or out at a contract site, and, while you are clocked in, location used for employer-configured geofence alerts and automatic clock-out when you leave the site. We do not collect location while you are off shift.
- Photos and other content you add. Before-and-after photos, task comments, and other text you enter on a task, when the work requires it.
- Device identifier for notifications. A push notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can alert you about assigned work.
On this website, if you send a message, apply for a job, or register as a subcontractor, we collect the details you submit in that form, such as your name, email, phone number, and the message itself.
How we use it
We use this information to:
- Sign you in and show your schedule, tasks, and time
- Confirm you are at the work site when you clock in or out
- Keep photos and comments with the task they belong to
- Send notifications you have allowed
- Respond to messages, applications, and subcontractor inquiries sent through the website
We do not sell personal information. We do not use it for advertising or to track you across other companies’ apps and websites.
Who can see it
Schedule, time, task, photo, and location records are available to authorized G-SIDA managers and coworkers who need them to run the work. We store the app’s data with our cloud infrastructure provider. Those providers process it only so the app and website can operate.
How long we keep it
We keep account, time, and task records for as long as your company account is active and for as long as we need them for payroll, contract records, and legal obligations. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
Children
The GSida app and this website are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
